Now here's the science part: imported from Italy (read super fancy), the sliding clasp consists of a small bead lined with a grippy silica lining which is attached to a lobster clasps. This means you can easily slide the clasp along the chain to adjust to the perfect length and then it grips to stay in place all day long. Clever.
